The MU trademark identifies a whole range of Self-lubricated dry sliding bearings. A composite structure, MU consist of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE modified sliding lining (wihout lead).This range of bearings is used throughout many types of industries thanks to the high load capacity, self-lubricated feature and excellent ratio between cost and performance of the whole range.

MU has a limited, the resistance to corrosion due to the carbon steel backing. This limitation can be overcomed by sliding bearings in MU-B material. Also this range is self lubricated and consist of a bronze backing (CuSn8P), an intermediate layer af sintered bronze and a modified PTFE lining lead free. The main items in MU-B range are the wrapped cylindrical bushes ISO 3547 (DIN 1494) as well as the flanged bushes, thrust washers and strips.

This range consist of stainless steel backing (AISI 316), an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a modified PTFE lining (without lead). MU-316 is excellent for corrosive enviroments and use with aggressive chemical agents or pollutants. Used in food and chemical industries. The types of bearings available in this range are cylindrical parts, thrust washers, strips and special items made accordino to customer’s drawing.

MR-3 bearings are made of metal grid housed within PTFE (without lead) loaded with solid lubricants. The metal grid provides mechanical resistence and drawability for forging bearings. The PTFE matrix loaded eith solid lubricant gives a low coefficient and high resistence to chemical abrasion. The MR-3 bearings are pratically maintenance free and can be supplied as cylindrical bushes, flanged bushing, fifth wheels, made-to-measure and specifically designed parts.

The MR-5 trademark identifies a range of bearings composed material of compounded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape on a metal shell (steel). The tape of PTFE contains carbon and graphite and isolates noise and is designed for obtain self lubricated bearings without play.The available products are cylindrical and flanged bearings, washers, belts and cast-to-size parts with thickness standard is from 0,500 mm (.0196 inch).

FRITEX is a self lubricated range and consist of metallic backing, either wrapped  or machined, wich can be carbon steel, stainless steel, bronze or alloy-625 to wich is bonded a layer of PTFE fabric. This fabric improves the resistance to cold flow by more than 10 times, making these bearings ideal for application with very high loads. The bearings support is available in several material, that vary accordino to the application type.

The HT-625 identifies a new generation of sliding bearings with major property of resistence to high temperatures. Suitable for application with temperature between –188°C to +538°C (-306°F to 1000°F) The outside surface is made of Alloy-625 indicated for its high strenght and resistance to chemical corrosion. Cylindrical bushing, washers, and special items accordino to drawing or customer’s request can be supplied.
